About the role:

As the Centre Manager/Clinical Lead, you will oversee the establishment and day-to-day operations of the MMHC (Medicare Mental Health Centre). Your leadership will play a key role in building professional and community relationships, developing referral pathways that support individuals from all backgrounds and delivering comprehensive mental health services.
  
Your responsibilities will include: 
  • Developing and implementing the MMHC service delivery model, including the set-up and support of an Advisory Group.
  • Leadership of the team and MMHC’s daily operations, ensuring the delivery of integrated mental health services and prioritising evidence-based practices. 
  • Partnering with other local organisations and service providers to deliver these services. 
  • Having sound multicultural awareness. 
  • Ensuring reporting requirements and compliance are met that contribute to the governance and operation of the MMHC.
  • Promoting the MMHC and building Community awareness of the services available.  
About you:

To be successful in this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in an Allied Mental Health discipline and be registered with an appropriate professional association (e.g., AHPRA, AASW). You will have significant experience in mental health service delivery, with a demonstrated ability to provide leadership and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team. Beyond your clinical expertise, you will be the face of the organisation in Mount Isa and surrounds. 

You will require a current Qld Drivers Licence as a car will be available for MMHC business use.
