Our client, a thriving and leading agricultural organisation, is seeking a junior level ICT Officer to join their IT team. You will be working for a large scale, modern and well-equipped company who pride themselves on quality food production.
  
About the role:

Reporting through to the ICT Manager, you will be providing Level 1/2 support to end users across multiple sites and setting within this 350+ user organisation. Covering a wide range of functions, your role will include:
  • Responding to helpdesk requests from internal customers;
  • Serving as a first point of contact for and representing the IT Department;
  • Providing IT support through remote access, via the phone, through email and in person, travelling to sites as needed;
  • Assisting colleagues with iOS and Android needs;
  • Setting up and troubleshooting hardware; and
  • Performing other Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk tasks, as required.
About you:

This role would be ideal for an applicant with at least six months’ experience in a similar role, with a desire to provide timely, effective and friendly support. You will additionally possess:
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field;
  • Prior experience in customer service or technical support role;
  • High level communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; and
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
Successful candidates will have a driver’s licence and will adhere to company biosecurity standards (which will be explained in interview).
