Our client is a local, not-for-profit organisation and registered charity that provides community housing, support for at risk youth, home services for older Australians and disability support. They strive to alleviate everyday pressures and challenges for their clients and above all else, aim to give them independence.
About the role:
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will ensure compliance with legislation and standards, maintain a robust risk management system and support continuous improvement. You will also manage key relationships with your colleagues and provide support across the organisation. This hands-on role will also see you:
- Conducting internal audits and assisting with external audits for compliance;
- Developing and updating manuals, procedures and work instructions;
- Managing document control and quality reporting;
- Managing reporting obligations to quality standards;
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes to practice standards and quality frameworks;
- Ensuring employee certifications and qualifications are current and compliant;
- Facilitating process reviews, improvements and risk assessments; and
- Communicating quality-related information and preparing reports for leadership.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of ISO9001 international quality standards, with additional knowledge of NDIS Quality Standards and Aged Care Quality Standards being advantageous. Your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills will be crucial, along with your high-level interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively in multifunctional teams and engage with diverse community groups. Additionally, your strong time and workload management skills will help you thrive in this dynamic environment.
