About the role:

As a key member of the organisation, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to grieving families, during their most difficult times. Your responsibilities will include co-ordinating funeral arrangements, managing client communications and ensuring a seamless experience for all involved. Further functions include:
  • Family Care:
    • Handling incoming calls and enquiries with empathy and professionalism;
    • Providing guidance and support to families throughout the funeral planning process; and
    • Co-ordinating the scheduling of funeral arrangements and consultations.
  • Arrangement Co-ordination:
    • Preparing necessary documents and paperwork for funeral arrangements; and
    • Managing the logistics of funeral services, including transportation and venue arrangements.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Maintaining accurate records and documentation; and
    • Preparing and distributing necessary reports.
  • Team Co-ordination:
    • Collaborating with funeral directors and other team members to ensure calm and organised operations; and
    • Assisting with staff scheduling and resource allocation.
About you:

The successful applicant will have a proven ability to prioritise and organise. You will be outcome focused, with a positive disposition and have excellent attention to detail. Your customer service skills and empathy will be strong points.  Please note that due to the nature of the industry, some evening and weekend work can be included in your roster.
