We are a locally owned and operated business who have been providing the Darling Downs and Brisbane regions with exceptional recruitment and staffing solutions since 2004. We are committed to delivering bottom line outcomes for our clients using recruitment, human resources and organisational psychology methods, rooted in practical, real-world staff selection and management principles.

Catering predominantly for professional, executive, management, technical, specialist and clerical roles, we partner with our clients to recruit for a range of positions; from entry level administrative staff through to management and “C-Level” executive positions. Our track record in permanent recruitment placements extends across multiple industries and sectors within Australia and the Pacific, including agriculture, professional services, manufacturing, production, engineering, retail, industrial services and not-for-profit.

Our team has a simple structure, consisting exclusively of Consultants, Psychologists and Support Administrators. Every person at JP Smith Recruitment and HR is passionate about people and assisting our clients to manage their human capital more effectively. We draw our expertise from a diverse range of industries in local, national and international regions. The amalgamation of our diverse backgrounds ensures that our clients engage in a strong partnership that will get results.

Our History

In October 2024, JP Smith Recruitment and Human Resources celebrates 20 years of service. In actual fact, it goes back further than that, when I started up my first psychological testing business called Jamieson P. Smith Psychological Testing in 2002.
